Ethnic Gathering Through Baja California Arts Festival |
With the purpose of generating a space for the Cucapas, Kumiai, Kiliwa and Paipai native communities from Baja California to gather, the Traditional Art Festival of Baja California will take place. This was the announcement from the Native Artisans President Rito Silva.
Silva said that this will be a great opportunity of gathering the ethnic communities of the State which are too far apart from each other plus it is a great chance to show the Baja community of their ways and traditions.
Arts and crafts made out of pine, reed, palm and willow will be available for sale this coming 2 and 3 of August in Ventana al Mar Plaza of Ensenada. This invitation was extended for the Mexicali residents both foreign and local in a press conference by the Tourism Secretariat.
