San Diego Comic Con International 2008 |
 The big Con is here. The most anticipated family entertainment event of the year on both sides of the US-Mexico border. The San Diego Comic Con International 2008 is starting today, Thursday 24 at the San Diego Convention Center on what promises to be the biggest one of all.
Comic fans from all over the US and Mexico travel to San Diego every year to gather at the world’s biggest event of its kind. This year, San Diego’s hotel and motel accommodations filled up months in advance with lots of US people seeking accommodation as far as in Rosarito, Baja California, Mexico.
And while seeking sleeping quarters was hard enough, last minute registration for attendance was impossible, as most of the 4 day tickets available where sold out since late March and getting your hands on single day admission were only possible up until last week. Oh, and on site registration will not happen this year. Talk about demand.
Last year’s Comic Con attendance was a whooping 120,000 and more is expected for this one. So get your trainers ready and brace yourself for costumes, artists, comic and tons of free stuff kids and grown-up alike love.
